Dried Apples How Do I Make Dried Baked Apples?

How do I make dried baked apples? - dried apples

General Mills came with "waves of fruit." They are really crispy baked apple slices. They are excellent, but a little more expensive than they want to pay. Therefore, I would like to know how to dry apple slices and cook them so to me. All done before? They have a crisis such as a potato chip, but soft and have a serving of fruit in the bag. I like myself.

Dried Apples

You will need:
Apples, green or red
Lemon juice
Salt
Knives
Grid
Paper towels

Slice apples 1 / 4 inch thick, so the core. Dip slices in 20 minutes a mixture of 2 cups of lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of salt. Make sure to completely cover. Remove slices and pat dry with paper towels. Place on a rack over a baking sheet (for easy removal) in an oven at 150 for about 6 hours containing up to dry. When they begin to curl, turn them over. When you have finished, the courts have an idea of the type of leather.

Dried Oranges

You will need:
Oranges
Knives
Grid

Paper towels

Cut each orange part 1 / 4 inch slices. Discard tips. Place on a rack, which has placed on trays in an oven at 150 degrees. Dry for about 6 hours, turning when edges begin to curl. When dry, you need to be flexible.

You can use the slices whole or halved, depending on your what you do.
